DESCRIPTION:Exciting Tour of the Albuquerque Tesla Service Center at the Santa Ana Pueblo outside of Bernallilo. Then tour the Coronado Historic Site nearby and then eat lunch at the famous Range Cafe in Bernallilo. We will meet at the Journal Tesla Supercharger at 9:00 AM June 27\, 2026 then drive up to the Tesla Service Center outside of Bernallilo to see their exciting new Teslas.  \n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.tesla.com\n\n\n\n\nThen on to the Coronado Historic Site at 11:00 am for a docent led tour of ruins of one of the largest Native American pueblos in North America.  \n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.nmhistoricsites.org/coronado\n\n\n\n\nFinally to the Range Cafe in Bernallilo for an exciting lunch and meet with fellow Tesla owners and enthusiasts. Then open the zip file and copy two files with .fseq and .mp3 file format onto a thumb drive attached to your computer into a newly created folder named LightShow (case sensitive). Then rename the two files on your thumb drive both to LightShow (case sensitive).  \n\n\n\nPut your thumb drive into either the center console or in you glovebox in your Tesla. Then select Toy Box and Light Show and select LIghtShow from the drop down menu to try out. Let me know if it works and we will do a coordinated Light Show tomorrow. I will also bring some extra thumb drives for people to use. \n\n\n\nShould be lots of fun.

DESCRIPTION:Tesla Owners Club of New Mexico TOCNM.org is is proud to announce an exciting Tesla Road Rally to Acoma Sky City and the Ice Cave Lava Tube outside of Grants\, NM. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the new Tesla Supercharger near the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center off 12th NW in Albuquerque at 9:00 AM. \n\n\n\nWe will then drive I40 west to Acoma Sky City Cultural Center and Haaku Museum and then take a tour of the Acoma Pueblo Sky City\, the oldest continuously inhabited city in North America. SUMMARY:Rally to Chloride September 19th
DESCRIPTION:Rally to Chloride and Truth or Consequences Saturday September 19th. \n\n\n\nWe will visit Chloride – nestled in the foothills of the Black Range Forest and if time – an optional group dinner and/or other activities in TorC. \n\n\n\nhttp://www.pioneerstoremuseum.com/General_Information.html \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the Albuquerque Uptown chargers early at 8 AM (2200 Louisiana Boulevard NE\, Albuquerque).  We will need to charge in Socoro and in TorC before the trip through  Winston to Chloride. \n\n\n\nBring a Picnic lunch or grab something in TorC to take to Chloride for lunch.  We will do a picnic and tour several old buildings full of artifacts\, history and records and just fun stuff to look at. \n\n\n\nAfter Chloride we will return to TorC to charge – arriving between 4 and 5 PM. The trip home will be about 3 hours including a charge in Socorro.    \n\n\n\nOptional:  If you want to spend more time in TorC for mineral baths or visit the Geronimo museum or visit empty Elephant Butte lake you will probably want to stay overnight.  If you plan to stay overnight\, please arrange your own lodging. Dennis and Vicki will be staying overnight. Here are some lodging options. https://www.visit-torc.com/lodging \n\n\n\nHere is an estimate of timing.  Leave Albuquerque 8:15AM; Leave Socorro after charging 10AM;  Arrive TorC 11AM; Leave TorC after charging/food purchase11:45; arrive Chloride 1PM for picnic and tour (1PM to 3:00 PM);  Return to TorC – arriving around 4:00 PM.  \n\n\n\nFor those who stay. This is just a possible schedule. We will decide in TorC.4:00 to 7:00 check into your overnight facility and/or do a bath – drive to the dam. 7:00 to 8:30 Dinner: I will make reservations at La Cocina Hot Stuff unless I hear differently. 8:30 + Late night soaks or what ever. DESCRIPTION:Next month dozens of Albuquerque electric vehicle drivers and enthusiasts will host an event to allow community members to get their questions answered about what driving and owning an electric vehicle is really like at 2026 3rd Annual Albuquerque EV Expo.  \n\n\n\nShow your Tesla and sign up to volunteer here. \n\n\n\nWe will be focusing on how your electric vehicle can provide you with additional benefits such as cooking on induction stovetops\, keeping beverages cold with refrigerators for camping and outdoor activities\, power tools for working in remote locations and power backup for critical home appliances in power outages. We have a micro grant to help our with showing these benefits primarily with offsetting the costs of display and educational materials. Let us know by email at info@tocnm.org or in the comments below. \n\n\n\nThe event is part of the 14th annual National Drive Electric Month (NDEM). \n\n\n\nNational Drive Electric Month\, a coast-to-coast celebration of electric vehicles (EVs)\, will be held Sept. 11 through Oct. 12\, 2026\, and is expected to include more than 200 online and in-person events. \n\n\n\nThere are now more than three million EVs on the road in the United States\, and a recent survey from Cox Automotive found consumers considering purchasing an EV for their next vehicle is at an all-time high. The increased interest in EVs makes NDEM events important to educating the public about the incredible benefits of owning an EV\, from cost-savings on maintenance and fuel to improved air quality\, convenience and performance.
