SUMMARY:Tesla Road Rally to the Historic Trinity Site\, Site of the First Atomic Bomb Blast
DESCRIPTION:Tesla Road Rally to the historic Trinity Site\, the site of the first atomic bomb blast on Saturday\, October 19\, the only day of the year it is open to the public. After the visit we will drive back to San Antonio\, NM for lunch at the famous original Owl Bar and Grill known for their Green Chile Cheeseburgers. We would then drive down to nearby Bosque Del Apache Wildlife Refuge\, home of thousands of migratory birds\, for a driving tour around the loop. \n\n\n\nWe will meet at the Albuquerque SuperCharger on Lange Ave near the Journal Center at 8:00 AM then drive to Socorro with a stop at the new SuperCharger there to top off before driving to the Trinity Site about 40 miles away. It should take us through the mid to late afternoon with lunch and a visit to the wildlife refuge. RSVP below. Look forward to see you there!
